Unless otherwise stated, purchases made through our website are subject to these Terms & Conditions; in all booking arrangements, the person making the booking shall be deemed to have accepted these conditions on behalf of the persons named in the booking.

 

General

 

Endless Weekend Tours reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries or timetables without prior notice, should the necessity arise. Endless Weekend Tours is not responsible for losses in the event of Force Majeure, such as natural catastrophes, strikes, weather, war or other causes outside of the control of Endless Weekend Tours. Such losses and expenses are the personal liability of the traveller.

 

As a customer, you agree to comply with and are legally bound to our Terms and Conditions. It is your personal responsibility to read our Terms and Conditions and inform all the parties of your group about them before joining our tours.

 

Product delivery

 

The customer(s) will receive a booking confirmation and a receipt for the purchase of our tour(s). Customer(s) are required to present the receipt on an electronic device or print out when boarding our vehicles. The customers will also receive a booking number that is required to change or cancel a booking.

 

It is the customers’ responsibility to contact our Customer Support team at manager@endlessweekend.pt  regarding the details of their booking(s) - the number of passengers, contact details, pickup time and location. Should the customers fail to contact the Customer Support team in due time, Endless Weekend Tours will not accept any liability for losses or mistakes.

 

Endless Weekend Tours offers packages combining several day tours as well as transfers for a reduced price ("Special Offers"). They are only confirmed once manually processed by the booking team who will send by email the individual tickets along with the instructions to the customers.

 

Tour descriptions

 

Tour descriptions, format and timings given on our website and in any other literature are only intended to present a general idea of the tour, and shall not be considered binding.

 

We try to ensure that the information in or through the website is accurate, it does not provide any warranties, express or implied, in relation to its correctness, completeness, current, reliability, suitability for any purpose or otherwise (including for any information provided by third parties).

 

In particular, photographs are meant for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute any contractual agreement between you and us.

 

The information about each tour is correct at the time of print. However, their content or format may change slightly during the year. Current details are available on our website.

 

We do not provide any warranties, express or implied, in relation to the availability of the website or its functions, that the website is free from defects, or that the website and the infrastructure on which it runs is free from viruses and other harmful software.

 

Moreover, we do not guarantee that information available on the website has not been altered through technical defects or by unauthorised third parties.

 

Tours lengths

 

Session lengths are approximate, and are given simply as an indication of the time you will spend at the tour.

 

Change and Flexibility of the Itineraries

 

If you want to change any of the details of your booking we reserve the right to make an amendment charge of 10 Euros per person as a contribution to our administrative expenses. All amendments must be notified to us in writing by the person who made the original booking at least five working days before the tour date. Please make sure that you can find a suitable new date for your tour.

 

While we endeavour to operate all tours as described we reserve the right to change the tour itinerary if necessary, before or after departure.

 

It is easy to understand that the nature of this type of tours requires considerable flexibility on our and on your part in order to allow changes to the itinerary initially provided for each tour, whether the route, timetables, amenities and means of transportation without notice due to local circumstances or events that may occur that are beyond our control.

 

The closing or temporary unavailability of equipment or infrastructures, due to recuperation, repairing or technical and unpredictable flaws can occur; also, adverse weather conditions may lead to the punctual and temporary cancellation of certain activities.

 

Please check our website prior to departure to review the latest updates for your itinerary. If we make a major change, we will let you know as soon as possible, if there is time before departure.

 

We hereby declare that the information provided and specified in the pamphlets/brochures, including dates, conditions and prices, is merely informative as it may be subject to alterations at any moment; therefore, such information does not bind the organiser until the conclusion of each contract.

 

The definition of a major change is one that involves a relevant change in the advertised tour or departure time for more than 12 hours. When this occurs, if it is not the consequence of circumstances of force majeure, you will have the opportunity to accept the change on your tour or request cancellation with full refund.

 

The definition of a major change is one that involves a material change to the advertised tour, the time of departure or return by more than twelve hours. When a major change occurs, provided it does not arise from circumstances amounting to force majeure you can choose to accept the change, get a refund of the money paid, or accept an alternate offered visit.

 

Please note we are not responsible for any incidental expenses that may be incurred as a result of the change of itinerary such as visas or non-refundable flights.

 

Our Driver / guide

 

Our driver/guide is our employee, but any other guides or add-on outsourced personal services requested by you are not our employees. They are partners that build the tour together with us and are committed to all our terms and conditions.

 

Departures and Pick up / Arrival Point

 

The starting point or arrival will be your hotel or other agreed place in Porto and can be found in the tour description and is indicated on your booking confirmation.

 

Important

 

The pickup time and location are indicated on the voucher provided by our Customer Support team voucher and we request to contact us immediately if these are not correct. Any information regarding pick up time and location provided by any of our reselers need to be confirmed with our team at least 24 hours prior to the tour by email at manager@endlessweekend.pt.

 

It is the customers’ responsibility to arrive at the designated pickup location at the exact time indicated on the voucher. Should the customers fail to comply with these conditions, Endless Weekend Tours reserves the right to cancel the booking. Endless Weekend Tours might in single cases grant a free rescheduling or rebooking to the customer, in those cases no refund, be it full or partial, will be issued.

 

On board and during the tour

 

Our group trips are run by a tour guide. The decision of the tour guide is final on all matters likely to affect the safety or well-being of any traveller or staff member participating in the trip.

 

It is the customers’ responsibility to behave according to normal social standards towards the other passengers and the staff while on board and outside the vehicle during the visits. The company reserves the right to refuse or terminate service to any customer without obligation to explain or provide the reason in case of unacceptable behaviour (see below cases). Furthermore, the company also holds right to refuse service and any further communication, plus right to communicate with relevant governmental agencies, in any case, pertaining to, but not limited to:

 

  • Physical, Sexual and Verbal harassment to staff or any fellow traveller
  • Threat, libel or slander of staff or any fellow traveller
  • Physical abuse or harm to others and oneself
  • Discrimination based on skin colour, race, gender expression and identity, sex, age, religion, and bigotry
  • Fraud, theft or intention to cheat the company

 

Please note that any aggressive or discriminatory mode of communication (including phone and emails) will not be entertained and can lead to cancellation of your tour without any notice.

 

The Portuguese law requires each passenger to fasten their seat belts while on board. Not complying with the law can lead to expulsion from the vehicle. Booster seats (for children of the age 4-12) and Children's Safety Car Seats (for children of 2+ years) are available upon request at manager@endlessweekend.pt.

 

Customers are given a certain time to visit each site - this time is given by the tour guide before exiting the vehicle at each stop. It is the customers’ responsibility to come back to the vehicle on time. If the customers fail to comply and are late or missing, Endless Weekend Tours reserves the right to continue the tour as scheduled. In such events, the customers will have to find other means of transportation at their own expense. Endless Weekend Tours will not provide any partial or full refund for the tour or any transportation used to return to the customers’ accommodation. The customers will have to meet us at our office during opening hours to collect their personal belongings potentially left on the vehicle.

 

Porto is known for its temperamental weather, in the sense that it can be shiny one day and cloudy the following one. Sometimes the temperatures rise / fall dramatically from one day to the other, and variations of 10 degrees are not that uncommon. So our recommendation is that whatever the season you choose to visit Porto, make sure that you bring a proper raincoat. It will prove more useful than using an umbrella, as this is also a very windy city.

 

It is the customers’ responsibility to check the forecasts prior to the tour and dress accordingly. All our tours include short or medium walks from the vehicle to the viewpoints/points of interest. Endless Weekend Tours will not provide any equipment or clothes.

 

We accept no liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to our negligence, in which case our liability is limited to a maximum of the tour cost.

 

We are not responsible for any objects stolen, lost or forgotten inside our vehicles. We advise all customers to have travel insurance, as they travel at their own responsibility on tours and transfers.

 

You must at all times comply with the laws, customs, foreign exchange and drug regulations of our country, and you also agree to travel in accordance with our responsible travel guidelines.

 

Age requirements

 

Minimum Age: For the majority of our trips there is no minimum age. Although, all travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

 

The legal guardian or their designee will be responsible for the traveller under the age of 18’s day to day care.

 

If a legal guardian elects to designate an escort in their lieu, they will be required to complete and sign a relevant document, to delegate their authority.

 

Personal accident insurance is included in our service, and guarantees:

 

  • Payment of treatment costs, including hospital treatment, medicines, up to the annual amount of 3,500 Euros;
  • Payment of a capital of 20,000 Euros in case of death or permanent disability of its clients, reducing capital by death to reimbursement of funeral expenses, when these are under the age of 14 years.

 

Civil liability insurance is included in our service, and guarantees:

 

  • 50,000 Euros per claim and annuity that guarantees damages caused by claims incurred during the term of the policy, provided that claims up to one year after termination of the contract.

 

Cancellation right / right to return and refund

 

For rescheduling, re-booking and cancelling please contact us via e-mail manager@endlessweekend.pt and include your booking number.

In all cases you will be charged for the booking fees which cover the cost of payment processing and admin of managing your cancelation. This will be no more than 5% of the overall fee you have paid.


  • if a cancellation request from a customer is received with more than 2 days’ notice, only a cancellation fee of 5% is charged over the full refund given.
  • if a cancellation request from a customer is received with less than 2 days’ notice or if the customers are a “no-show”, the trip will be charged full price.


Endless Weekend Tours reserves the right to cancel a booking when a tour was open to booking but should not have been available. In that case, the customers would be fully refunded if rescheduling is not possible.


In case of a cancellation of any tour by Endless Weekend Tours (due to unfavourable weather conditions, technical difficulties or else independent of our control), you will be offered to:


  • Either reschedule to another date of your choice (free of charge and provided there is availability)
  • Or rebook to another tour (provided payment of the due amount before the tour if applicable and provided there is availability)
  • Or get a full refund

 

Complaints

 

We welcome your feedback on all of our products. In the unlikely event that you experience any problems, you should in the first instance report the matter to your guide, so that they have a chance to put matters right. If the matter is not then satisfactorily resolved, please notify us by e-mail to manager@endlessweekend.pt. Complaints should be reported within one month of tour date.

 

Inclusivity

 

We welcome the participation of disabled people in our tours and though we recognise that certain tours may present difficulties for those with disabilities. We are committed to ensuring that disabled customers are given every opportunity to participate, even this obliges to change some places to visit in favour of others with accessibility to disabled people.

 

So we ask that you tell us about any relevant disability at the time of ordering. This enables us to do our best to meet the participant’s particular needs. We will be happy to provide information about the disabled facilities available at specific venues on request.

 

Price and Payement

 

1. Please note that prices online can change without notice.

 

The relevant price for a tour booked through our website(s) is always the one displayed to you during checkout when you enter your name and contact details. The official price catalogue is always the one that is published in our brochure. For the duration of the validity of the brochure, a customer can request to book for this price. The price on our website(s) can differ from the official price catalogue.All tours and activities must be fully paid before boarding the vehicle to guarantee your seat. No payment on the vehicle will be accepted. If your booking requires further payment, it will be processed over the phone by our Customer Support team via credit card details or at our office. Should the due payment be missing, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. Your credit card information as well as your personal contact details are confidential and shall not be shared with any third party without your consent.

 

2. Special offers and promotional codes

 

Please note that limited time only offers such as promotional codes cannot be applied to a booking after purchase has been made such as a retrospective refund. Simply enter the promotional code into the relevant section when booking. If a promotion has an asterisk (*) this means that the offer is valid on Endless Weekend Tours website only. The asterisk indicates that this offer is not valid on airport transfers or any products listed in our experiences page. Only one discount is applicable to a booking at one time. Promotional codes are not valid on any of our special offer packages as a discount is already applied to the products.

 

Confidentiality

 

The seller holds all information from the buyer in relation to the purchase as confidential. Under no circumstances will information be handed to a third party.

 

Photos and marketing

 

You consent to us using images of you taken during the trip for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable licence to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.

 

Copyright

 

The text, illustrations and images used in all our website promotional literature are protected by copyright and must not be copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public in whole or in part in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial use.

 

Any other use of our website content requires the prior written permission of us.

 

The details listed above are the Terms and Conditions offered by us. Your statutory rights are not affected.
