We continue the tour towards Foz, “the mouth of the river”. There, it is possible to observe where the Douro joins the Atlantic.

We return to Matosinhos by the sea. This former fishing village has several points of interest, among them its beautiful cruise terminal, fish market and, of course, restaurants. From Matosinhos we return to Porto, climbing the mythical Avenida da Boavista, the largest avenue in the city with 5.5 km long. In it, we will find some of the most visited points of Invicta, including the City Park. With its 83 hectares of greenery, it is the largest urban park in Portugal. A little higher, next to the imposing Rotunda da Boavista, is the Casa da Música, inaugurated in 2005.

To finish the tour, we cross the Douro River over the emblematic Arrábida Bridge. Did you know that when it was built, in 1963, it had the largest reinforced concrete arch in the world?

We stop at Jardim do Morro, lay our eyes in the Douro River and savour what is, for many, the best view over the city of Porto.

Our tour ends next to the magnificent Monastery of Serra do Pilar, in Vila Nova de Gaia.
